Pump Up Float w/10' cord 115V piggyback plug (yellow-used when automatic filling of a tank is desired)

Normally Closed Contacts When Hanging Down

NOTE: A float weight should be used instead of a wire tie. Wire ties don't do well when submersed underwater for long periods of time and have caused many failures. When using a float weight the cord must be retained at the top of the tank.
To make a pump up float weight adjustment The cord should be retained at the top of the tank while the float remains a minimum of 20% off the bottom while hanging. Make a pivot point in the float cord with your fingers so the float is straight up or usually about 10% below top of the tank. Install the float weight on the float cord at the pivot point you created with your fingers.
A float weight should be used instead of a wire tie. Wire ties don't do well when submersed underwater for long periods of time and have caused many failures. When using a float weight the cord must be retained at the top of the tank. Float will signal pump to stop when up and start when down.

NOTE; THESE FLOATS HAVE PIGGYBACK PLUGS. THE PIGGYBACK PLUG MALE SPADES PLUG INTO THE WALL AND THE FEMALE SOCKETS ACCEPT THE PLUG OF THE CONTROLLED DEVICE. THE PLUG CAN ALSO BE CUT OFF EXPOSING 2 WIRES WHICH CAN THEN BE HARD WIRED AS A SINGLE POLE SWITCH USED IN SERIES FOR UP TO 13AMP.
